Cooking with Style
You are the best cook ever (or at least in your house). You love to try new recipes (especially those that you see on the Food Network). You have fancy cookware, or at least a chopper. Does this sound like you?
I do believe that I am the top chef in my house. I can not figure out the quick cutting method that the pros make look easy. I am sort of a klutz and I would definitely cut myself. I can, however, use a chopper with confidence. For as much time as I spend in the kitchen, I think that it is time that I start cooking with style.

Do you have a cute apron?

I have a couple cute aprons. A drawback from watching my granny when I was growing up.
Some things should STAY the way you remember them. Aprons is one!
Good Morning Poetess! I need to buy a cute apron. My granny used to wear aprons too:)
I’m still waiting for my mother to make me a cute apron.. I’ll be waiting awhile.
Ayla- My mom used to sew but it has been years. I would have to wait an eternity for my mom to make me one too. I hope your mom makes you one soon.
As an artist, aprons have always been my favorite clothing items in the studio. After looking at this post, I am now considering taking them on the street. I especially loved the first two!
Mary- I think aprons can be a cute accessory too.
I have loved aprons since cooking with my aunties as a little girl. I still have some of theirs’ as well as some additions I’ve acquired over the years. I prefer the full style. They protect my clothes from the mess I make while baking bread! Fab post!
Kathleen- Thank you! I would love to try baking bread.
I still have my grandma’s apron to use. It’s worn and tattered but it’s help make some wonderful meals.
Alessandra- I think that it is cool that you still have your grandma’s apron. It is cool when things get passed down through the generations.
I’d love to own a cute apron, but I’d never wear it for fear of getting it dirty!
Melody- I want a cute apron too. I would not want to get it dirty either. I would want it to look cute:)
Love those, I bought myself a cute apron but unfortunately it didn’t improve my cooking skills.
Kathryn- I don’t think it will improve my cooking skills either. I am a pretty good cook. I can follow a recipe. I don’t do that well without recipes..
Cute! I think cooking is much more fun with a cute apron.
I have 2 cute aprons and whenever I don one my husband laughs and says “so this is a serious recipe.” Other times it is a reaction to my tough work day and I am simply embracing 1953 life……
Alexis – That is funny! I love the idea of embracing 1953 life, wearing an apron as a tribute to women of years past.
How cute is that fourth one! I’d start cooking more if I owned that.
Okay, I gotta get me one of these
I love cooking! I have a cute apron my mom made me for a halloween costume actually, but I haven’t used it – I should break it out! Love apron #2 – great post!
