Warm and Toasty
The warm tones of autumn give me a sense of being cozy and comfortable. The crispness of the air outside is overshadowed by the warmth and great seasonal aromas inside. The colors of autumn are both beautiful and inspiring.
Has anyone used their fireplace yet? I miss the warmth and crackling of the fireplace (memories of Virginia).

Holiday Thinking
Am I the only one planning for the holidays already? I am thinking about what I want to give each of my children. I know that Marley will get a baby doll.
I used to have 2 Cabbage Patch Dolls as a child and I loved them.
My son loves Thomas the Train and Friends. Well actually, he loves all types of transportation. I know that we will get him so trucks, cars, and trains. I love sales and so I will definitely be starting early. What about you? Have you started yet?

The Beauty of Three
There is something beautiful about the number three (don’t you think). The ‘Three Amigos’ or the ‘Three Musketeers’ or ‘three peas in a pod’ are all wonderful threes.
So, we are officially going from having two to having three children. It sure will be noisy around here this time next year but noise is good:)

Relax x 3
So for a lot of people, this will be a three-day weekend (Columbus Day is Monday). Relaxing and taking it easy is the best way to spend a long weekend (at least I think so).

Cinnamon Nutmeg
When I think of cinnamon and nutmeg together, I immediately think of a delicious baked good (pie or cake). I love the smells that baking adds to a home. It makes the home smell wonderful and gives a feeling of cozy and quaint. While I do not bake all the time, I still love the smells. I found these great DIY potpourri tutorials that will give your home the same aromas.
The second recipe even includes you taking a nature walk. This would be a fun thing to do with your toddler.

Best Part of Autumn…Pumpkin
I love pumpkin. I love pumpkin and spice scented fragrances for the house that make the rooms smell delicious and festive. I love the wonderful creations made with pumpkin from pies to cakes. What about you? Are you a fan of pumpkin?
I would love to have a cup of the pumpkin spice hot chocolate. It looks tasty.

I’m Back + Ode to Autumn
I am so glad to back and blogging. I had to take a brief pause away from the blog but I am back. I sure did miss your wonderful comments. I am back on track and ready to find daily inspiration.
The weather is getting cooler here. I know that some love the cooler temperatures but I miss the warm weather of summer. There are parts of autumn that I love. I love the colors of autumn. The trees and the leaves are great sources of inspiration.
Do you have big plans for today? I am back to using ‘To Do’ lists. Organization for me is key to less stress.

It’s Friday
It is Friday! This week has really gone by really fast. Did it go by quickly for you too? The aftermath of the hurricane made it a bit hard to get things done at the beginning of the week. By the end of the week, things were starting to get back to normal.

It is going to be a long weekend for most in the states. Labor Day is the last hurrah before most little ones have to go back to school. It also marks the end of the summer for others. Do you have big plans this weekend?

Back to School
It is officially the first day of September. Are you ready for the school year to begin? Have you purchased all of your kid’s school supplies? I used to love the first day of school. I would love seeing all my friends, meeting my teachers and starting new after school activities.
It just seems like the summer has passed by way too quickly. I would love to hit rewind and start at June all over again. Would you go back if you could?

Happy Birthday to Me
So today I am officially 35 and I do not feel old at all. I remember when I was younger I thought that you were old when you turned 35 but now I think it is the new 21:)
